How to save and copy your pictures

There are three ways to save a picture in one form or another:

  1. Save completed pictures by selecting File, Save picture from the menu bar. I save the picture as a Windows *.BMP graphic file.
  2. You can use the Clipboard to paste a FracRove picture into Windows applications. Select Edit, Copy from the menu bar. Note that fractal pictures are not suited for saving to photographic picture file types, like JPEG. You should choose bit-map types like *.bmp, *.gif, and similar. Check the help file on your graphics program as it should tell you about file types it can save.
