Colour palettes
Click on Change Palette in the Control Panel:
and I'll display the Select palette dialog.
This shows the current palette, and a miniature of the current picture. You
can change the order of colours in the current palette by playing with the
Reverse, Reset, < Shift, and Shift > buttons.
You'll soon find out what they do. Each change you make is reflected in the
picture preview window.
If you want a different palette, you have these sources of colour palette:
- Inbuilt palettes. Click on a palette
bar on the left of the dialog and I'll show the full palette in the Current
selection box at the bottom left of the dialog.
- Colour *.map files. Click the Browse button, and I'll display an
Open File dialog. You can choose a FracRove colour map. For this
release (3.0) FracRove does not use any other type of palette file.
- The colour map maker utility.
Click the Call kullamap utility button and I'll load up KullaMap.exe
so you can build your own colour map files.
